Heron Rock Bistro is a beloved James Bay staple. Serving patrons in Victoria, BC for over fifteen years. The bistro is known for its incredible brunch and dinner menus; delivering incredible value and quality, with friendly approachable service. The label design for the launch of a line of packaged in-house made products needed to resemble and remind people of their experience in the bistro. The design has a clean and simple presentation, offering small refined and pleasant details, much like the bistro itself. A neo-traditional packaging design, referencing labels of the 1950s and 60s, bright contrasting colours in the family of the Heron Rock blue, as well as custom spot illustrations add a signature character to the designs. Just like the friendly faces that greet you at the bistro these labels instantly make the customer feel welcome and reminds them of the good times that have been had and are yet to come.
