Motion Graphics

worked with motion graphics for several years. First After effects to create a series of descriptive videos for the 2018 proportional representation referendum campaign. In the years that have followed i have developed different techniques and styles to create descriptive moving infographics and decorative logo animations.

This extensive project for BC Timber sales included over thirty custom illustrations that were individually animated to create an informative whiteboard drawing style animation. The challenge with this project was the specificity of the different elements of the seeding process and the equipment and uniforms used and worn by the various stakeholders.

When working for the BC Green party as the visual communication designer I was tasked to make a series of motion graphic videos to explain several different subjects including; voting processes during the 2018 BC referendum on proportional representation, a policy position on LNG subsidies, as well as a policy accomplishments after the passing of legislation supporting benefit corporations. I am constantly developing new skills and this is an area iā€™m excited to continue to grow in. I used photography and my own original illustrations to create the animations in these short films.
