Kilshaw’s Auctioneers
Rebranding, logo design and product photography
Although the time of this grand old auction has passed and Kilshaws has closed its doors. The Kilshaw’s style and character was powered by the appreciation of things. The excitement of the competition to obtain the object of ones desire has always been the force driving the auction world. Although there have been some changes with the digital age, the excitement to bid on treasures was strong to the final moment as it was at the time of Kilshaw’s establishment in Victoria in 1949. For the re-branding of the auction house, it was important that the mark would be adaptable for the many needs of the company while also having a high degree of “inspiration” and artistic reference. The geometric stylized monogram depicts a mirror K and A in a way that represents the combating forces of the auction world while being inspired by the beauty and duality of two competing Betta fish.
