Organic architecture was the core concept in the rebranding of Mow Victoria into Fallingwater Property Services Inc. The company sought to match its name and brand to the high quality of service they provide. Frank Lloyd Wright describes the concept of organic architecture as that which promotes harmony between human habitation and the natural world; most famously in the design of the company’s namesake, Fallingwater, the iconic home in rural Pennsylvania. Fallingwater Property Services defines itself as the premier landscaping and property maintenance company in Victoria, BC. The company strives to be more than, just a landscaping or maintenance company, but a superior service provider with an inspired approach to their work. The logo-mark is inspired heavily by Wright’s stained glass windows, and also influenced by the geometry found in early 20th-century architecture. It is both a window to a natural world that is in harmony with its structure, while also acting as an abstract monogram. The result is a mark that is both balanced and distinctly memorable.
